Surviving a Mass Shooting: Case Studies in Successful Tactics and Techniques

Receive potentially life-saving information that employees and the public can use to increase their chances of survival should they find themselves involved in a mass shooting, active shooter incident, or terrorist attack. Based on research of every mass shooting since 1980 and the actions taken and decisions made by victims of these horrific attacks, participants will learn how to plan with family members in an age-appropriate manner; focus on specific steps that can be taken to improve one's situational awareness; and learn the ESCAPE Model, an easy-to-remember, six-step method of successful tactics and techniques that have kept people alive in a deadly event.
